Thanksgiving

My mom found this sweater at Costo and liked it
so much
that she insisted that I have one for myself.

Brayden with his grandmas

This is my Snowball Cake that I made for our dessert party.

As I was searching for pictures to put on our blog, I came across this one of Brayden sticking french fries up his nose. This just goes to show you that Brayden really does have a fun sense of humor. Just for the record, he did not eat the french fries when he was done with them.

This year and last year we had our moms up here for Thanksgiving. Brayden was so excited. He couldn't wait for the last day of school before Thanksgiving break so he could hang out with his grandmas. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, followed by a dessert party with our friends. Each family brought a different dessert so that we could all have something different. It was a lot of fun and we all walked away stuffed. On Friday, my mom and I decided to venture out and do the "Black Friday" thing. We did it last year and actually had fun, so we decided to do it again this year. We got to Target at 4:30 am and there were actually quite a lot of people in front of us, but we decided to make conversation with some ladies and before we knew it we were inside the store looking for the items that we came for. Sorry, I can't tell you what they are because then it would ruin the suprise on Christmas morning. I love Thanksgiving time, not just for the food, but it gives me the opportunity to thank my Heavenly Father for all of the wonderful blessings in my life. I have a wonderful husband who works hard to provide for our family and a wonderful son who makes me very proud of everything that he does. Sometimes I think that Thanksgiving just gets overlooked. By the time Halloween is over or even before, all the Christmas decorations are hanging throughout the stores. I feel like it doesn't give us a chance to reflect on Thanksgiving and for everything that we have been blessed with. I am looking forward to Christmas now and to reflect upon my Savior and and everything that He went through so that I am able to have an Eternal Family.
